Emergency crews were dispatched to Bexon on Wednesday night following reports of a possible shooting that left a woman critically injured inside her vehicle.
According to the Saint Lucia Fire Service, the distress call was received at approximately 8:17 p.m. on November 12. Responding units found a 33-year-old woman seated in the driver’s seat of a car, suffering from multiple suspected gunshot wounds.
Emergency personnel reported that the woman showed no signs of life upon assessment. Paramedics immediately administered resuscitative efforts before transporting her to a medical facility for urgent treatment.
Authorities have classified the case as an “alleged gunshot wounding” while investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Law enforcement officials have not yet released updates on the woman’s condition or identified any suspects in connection with the shooting.
